It combines independent study, which is embedded in all our courses, offering students the opportunity to explore a concept or topic that is relevant to their own learning.

This is such a great programme for the students. They are learning things about the law and the legal profession that I didn’t know as a fourth-year university student. I hope that many of them will become lawyers, but I know that all of them will benefit from this experience, regardless of their chosen calling.

Seeing Obama speak live and in person is definitely an experience I will remember for the rest of my life, and will be a highlight of my time at St. Michael’s.

The message Obama gave during his speech at Canada 2020 was one I felt directed at my peers and myself. He spoke about the future generations, my generation, and the faith he has in us to solve the mistakes ongoing in today’s world.
