Dear St. Michael’s College School Community,
At St. Michael’s College School (SMCS), we are called to be a model for and inspire students to ‘Be the Good’—a guiding principle that shapes all we do. Each young man in our care is challenged to use his academic formation to be a source of goodness in the world.
Our alumni are prime examples of a St. Michael’s College School education and the goodness we aim to foster in the world through personal, professional, and community service endeavours.
We are committed to producing good men who will inspire positive change, live lives of faith, character, and service, and become leaders in anything they do.
For this to happen, SMCS must rely on the support of a vibrant and generous community. Each year, the Annual Double Blue Campaign plays a key role in ensuring SMCS remains accessible to motivated and academically qualified students, regardless of their financial situation.
During the 2023-24 academic year, SMCS awarded approximately $2 million in financial assistance, benefiting one in six students. This support is primarily aimed at tuition but extends to other extraordinary experiential learning and co-curricular opportunities. Simply put, your generosity allows us to provide transformative opportunities for the students in our care.
Together, we are making an impact by opening the door for young men who would not otherwise be able to attend SMCS. However, to ensure SMCS is accessible to all qualified and motivated prospective students, the Financial Assistance Programme must grow to meet future requirements.
On behalf of SMCS, please know how grateful we are to every donor whose contributions make these experiences possible. For many of our Financial Assistance Programme recipients, attending SMCS wouldn’t be possible without your support. Thank you for your generosity and belief in our mission and for supporting future students as they answer the call to ‘Be the Good’ in the world.
Blessings,
Fr. Andrew Leung, CSB President
