It was a hot June day at the zoo. Prue was looking after the hippos when she noticed a leak in their pool.

She called up Fix-it Sue. “Come quick Sue, the pool has got a leak, and the hippos can’t keep cool.”

“I know what to do,” said Sue when she looked at the leak.

She took her chewing gum and stuck it in the leak.

POP went the chewing gum, and the leak grew stronger.

“I know what to do,” said Sue. She used a plank and a tube of glue to fix the leak.

POP went the plank, as it flew through the air. The leak grew even stronger.

Then Sue took the plank and screwed it over the leak. The plank did not come loose. Prue threw her arms around Sue. “You are a true hero,” said Prue.
