In winter, Fran and Brad put on coats and get in the car.

Dad stops the car at a big hill so they can go sledding.

Fran and Brad have a wooden sled. They clamber up to the top of the hill.

They wait until the coast is clear, get on the sled and go thundering back down.

If the wind picks up, they seek shelter under a tree.

Back in his log hut, Brad pulls off his wet gear and curls up under a blanket with his cat.
