SEEK THE BEST

Seek the Best. We seek the best in two ways: We cast wide nets to find the best people to hire and the best ideas to adopt, and we base decisions regarding them on facts. We acknowledge, appreciate, and capitalize on our diverse work force. Seek the Best. It has been a rollercoaster ride for recruiting since January 2020. Smart City Networks, like the rest of the industry, has adapted and bounced back from the pandemic and our numbers continue to grow. In February 2020, the unemployment rate was 3.5%, two months later in April 2020 it was 14.7%. Thankfully we are back to 3.7% but the lower the unemployment rate goes, the harder it is to find quality candidates which means our company must be diligent in its hiring processes in order to see the best possible results. It means moving quickly to not lose candidates to other companies. But the results have been transformative. 2021 saw 23 new hires and as of September 2022, we have 67 new hires. It has been an incredible turnaround that we hope continues into Q4.
