The Feast of the Transfiguration commemorates the revealing of Jesus as the Son of God and the fulfillment of the law (represented by the figure of Moses) and the prophets (represented by the figure of Elijah). This invites us into deeper reflection on ways God is revealed in the world and the role we play in the showing forth of his glory.

NDSM/NOW-FORWARD BACK TO SCHOOL

DISTRIBUTION PREP TEAM

Our youth are the go-to team to unpack and organize the uniforms and school supplies used in the distribution to North Dallas students. The organizing week is tentatively set for the week of July 21. Youth interested in being a part of the team in mid-July are encouraged to sign up on the online interest form. Final dates will be determined once the team is set. This work is a great opportunity for service hours.

BACHMAN LAKE TOGETHER: BACK TO SCHOOL FAIR CRAFT TEAM

AMISTAD BOLIVIA ADULT MISSION TRIP

Trip dates: October 15 – 22

Experience joy and transformation through service on the adult mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia. You will spend a week in fellowship with children who have been abused, abandoned, or orphaned and are given the opportunity to grow into independent adulthood through the Amistad Christian Community. Serve all ages by providing dental services, leading Christian education activities, and completing construction projects.
