Lisa Flores Shares a Favorite Book at Faith and Literature Today. The Rev. Lisa Flores reviews one of her favorite books, Moon Light Sonata at the Mayo Clinic at the Faith and Literature class at 11:00 in the Coke Activities Room. It is a portrait of illness and how it can change faith and life. Next week, June 21, The Rev. Oliver Butler will talk about Thomas Hardy’s classic Far from the Madding Crowd. Take a stroll, enjoy a cool drink, and experience the beauty of Saint Michael’s new Nave Courtyard and Columbarium after church. The Columbarium Committee will tell how the combination of wind, water, and sky are blended in this wonderful space enhancing the serenity of our entire campus. Traveling this Summer? Take Saint Michael with You – Sunday Worship to be Livecast. Heading to the mountains, the beach, Europe or Asia this summer. Wherever you go, you can worship with Saint Michael and All Angels. The 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning worship service in the Church is livecast. You can watch it live or access it whenever you want at www.saintmichael.org. Farmers Market Reaching Beyond Fruits and Vegetables. Saint Michael’s Farmers Market is reaching out to the community by collecting donations for four organizations that help those most in need: The Shoe Bank, Brother Bills Helping Hand, Austin Street Center, and Rainbow Days. A complete list of the items they need is on the website, www.saintmichaelsmarket.com/ outreach. The Market is open every Saturday from 8:00 – 12:00 in the north parking lot. Christian Yoga Schedule Changes. The summer brings changes to the Christian Yoga schedule. The class will NOT meet tomorrow, June 15, Monday, July 6, or during the month of August. Yoga classes will resume on Monday, September 14. Classes led by licensed instructor, Annette Lentz, meet at 5:30 in the Youth Center on Monday evenings. Contact Annette.lentz@sbcglobal.net.
