Again, thank you for worshiping with us today…do it often. Walter Brueggemann Headlines April 10 Distinguished Lecture Series. Dr. Walter Brueggemann is widely considered one of the most influential Old Testament scholars of the last several decades and he will be Saint Michael’s Distinguished Lecturer on Sunday, April 10. In Parish Hall at 10:00 Dr. Brueggemann will speak on “Covenant as an Alternative to Pharaoh.” And, at a reservations-only lunch in the Coke Activities Room at 12:30, he will address “Covenantal Economics: How God Wants us to Treat The Other.” Make reservations with Julia at jgiles@ saintmichael.org. Cost is $15. Childcare with lunch is available upon request. Confirmation Preparation for Adults - Starts Wednesday. Learn about joining the Episcopal Church and Saint Michael and All Angels. Confirmation Preparation, a five-week series led by Interim Rector Doug Travis and The Rev. Greg Pickens, begins Wednesday, March 30 from 6:30 – 8:00 in the Coke Activities Room. Dinner and childcare (for ages 3 & under) is provided. Saint Michael’s Farmers Market Opens Saturday, April 16 – Volunteer Now. Saturday, April16 will be the opening day for Saint Michael’s Farmers Market. Our long-time vendors will be joined by several new ones with delicious, healthy produce, fresh eggs, no-hormone meats, and a lot more. The market will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 12- Noon. Now is the time to volunteer as a Farmers Market Greeter. www.saintmichael. org/smfmvolunteers or with gusseeberger@gmail.com. Church Closed on Easter Monday. The church offices will be closed tomorrow. As a result the Women’s Cancer Support Group and Christian Yoga will not meet. They will resume their regular schedule next week: Women’s Cancer Support at 1:45 in the Parlor; Christian Yoga at 5:30 in the Youth Center.

All of the Easter Sunday Offerings will benefit Outreach Ministries Three ministries serving women and families will benefit from today’s Easter Offerings. The money will be divided equally between: • Gateway of Grace in Dallas, the largest refugee outreach program in North Texas • Our Friends Place in Dallas providing transitional resources for young women facing neglect, abuse, poverty, or homelessness. • The Princess Basma Centre for Children with Disabilities in Jerusalem
