Ten bridesmaids took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. When the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them; but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. As the bridegroom was delayed, all of them became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Look! Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those bridesmaids got up and trimmed their lamps. 5 Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. VNA MEALS ON WHEELS Saint Michael’s parishioners deliver meals to 4,000 Dallas County seniors who are homebound. Volunteers are needed to deliver routes once a month, and deliveries take just over an hour. Meals on Wheels is also looking for businesses that wish to deliver multiple routes on one designated day.
