Step One: Define Your Audience and Goal Who do you want to reach? And what do you want them to do? Follow three tips to grab their attention. Be informative. To complete your post, we need the most pertinent information. What event, community milestone, special promotion or exciting news does your audience need to know about? Be concise. If including a caption with your submission, try to keep it below 130 characters, including spaces. Shorter posts are more likely to be read. Encourage participation. If including a call to action, be sure to get straight to the point. For example: Click to learn more; Comment your memories; Share this with your friends. Try these content ideas to get your creative juices flowing: • Celebrate milestones, like birthdays, anniversaries, community awards or positive care outcomes. • Thank staff or highlight partnerships in the greater community. • Call out fun, unique activities or interesting holidays, like the local state fair or National Root Beer Float Day. • Make weekly featured posts, like “Throwback Thursday” or “Foodie Friday.”

Step Two: Make Visuals Clear and Eye-Catching DO use only clear, high-quality photos taken with a camera (if available) or a high-end smartphone. DON’T post collages. They make it hard to see photos clearly and give your audience fewer chances to engage. DO post videos when possible – but avoid blurry, shaky or overly noisy videos. DON’T create low-quality, overcluttered graphics. Instead, go bold with color and punch up text readability. DO use multiple photos to show different residents and angles on the action. When in doubt, ask for help. Grapevine Designs is here to support your needs.

Step Three: Submit the Post for Approval First, email us at tuterasocial@grapevinedesigns.com (one submission per email, please!) and include: • The full name of the community. • All photos and videos you want to include. If they’re too big to send in one email, let us know in your initial message. You can also send images with a file sharing service. • The language you’d like to use in the post – or the information we need to write it. (Who is in the photo? When was it taken? Where? What’s happening?) We’ll review the submission and send it to Tutera corporate for approval. Then, we’ll send you a reply once we’ve received your message and keep you updated along the way.
