In this new environment, Senior Lifestyle has adapted quickly and responsibly, and we are ready for a rapid distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine, which makes us among the safest and most fulfilling places for an older adult to live.

First, we follow CDC guidelines for masks, handwashing and social distancing because residents and staff are safer when we do.

Second, we toe the line: • Everyone entering our community wears a face mask and is screened according to CDC guidelines

• Staff are screened at the beginning, middle and end of their shifts • Every assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing resident is monitored for temperature, oxygen saturation level and condition changes • We work with national-level laboratories for staff and resident testing • We welcome PCPs (primary care physicians) and medical specialists, as residents require, and provide transportation to medical appointments Third, we’re committed to rigorous sanitization and incorporate new technologies as soon as we verify their effectiveness.

Fourth, Senior Lifestyle communities are now designated as high-priority recipients of the COVID-19 vaccines. Our residents and staff will be among the first to receive them, hastening the day when family and friends will be welcome to freely visit again.

Finally, we understand the importance of every resident’s want and need to connect with family, and we make sure they do. Patio visits, through-the-window greetings, videoconferencing – we help residents find rewarding ways to keep in touch.
