Holiday hours different with Christmas, New Year’s approaching
The library will have special hours for the upcoming holidays.
We will be closed on Saturday for Christmas Eve and Sunday for Christmas Day. We will be open our normal hours on New Year’s Eve on Jan. 31, but we will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Adult winter reading to start soon at library
Adults have winter reading to look forward to when January and the new year begin. Starting on Jan. 2, winter reading will start, and it’s so easy to participate this year.
There’s no registration required at all!
Instead, any time an adult checks out a book, they’ll receive a scratch off ticket for a chance at an instant prize, but they’ll also be entered into the grand prize raffle drawing, whether they’re an instant winner or not. There will be bonus ticket chances, too, for checking out winter-based books.
Winter reading will run through the end of February this year.
