CONTROLLING AIR DIRECTION PREMIUM AIR QUALITY Our front air intake turbine design compresses air to guarantee even distribution through both outlets. Our nozzles are mounted out of the airstream to provide unobstructed air that shears the water.

The turbine is engineered to draw clean air from between the tank and the fan housing, producing clean, non-contaminated air that doesn’t recycle the spray. This increases equipment safety, reduces dust and debris circulation, and results in accurate solution distribution and maximum crop protection.

Designed with air straighteners, our system allows the machine to suck in twice as much air as it exhausts, building pressure within the outlets to produce maximum air flow for the fan, ensuring air consistency and premium air quality.

The fan is precision machined to maintain a blade clearance of 50 thousandths of an inch to retain and control air pressure and improve overall performance.

DURABILITY The cast aluminum fans prevent rust and deterioration, ensuring durability and reliability for the lifetime of the sprayer.

We use a heavy-duty flange on an isolated gearbox to absorb operational effects and prevent the transfer of mechanical vibrations. While ensuring superior air quality and consistency, this also protects the gearbox and its major components, reducing maintenance and increasing the lifespan of the equipment.

We use stainless steel tanks for their reliability, durability, and long-term cost savings. Our tanks permit mechanical agitation, keeping solution in constant suspension and removing any issues with pump capacity, allowing you to take advantage of the Gear Up Throttle Down (GUTD) method and save on fuel.

Every Turbo-Mist™ sprayer undergoes rigorous quality assurance testing at each stage of the fabrication process. Our sprayers are dyno-tested to ensure a horsepower output that results in a quieter and more efficient process and vibration analyzed for quality control to ensure maximum reliability in our product. We ensure each component part has been tested to prevent and reduce solution waste, optimize air quality and control, and ensure durability, quality, and consistency.

THE DIFFERENCE WHAT MAKES US BETTER.

OFFSET PUMP REDUCTION DRIVE SYSTEM

Our models feature our exclusive reduction pump drive system that protects the pump by slowing it down to a consistent 450 rpm rating (100 below maximum rpm), eliminating a major cause of diaphragm failure and reducing costly maintenance. We include performance features such as parts immersed in oil, stainless steel valves and seats to ensure consistent, reliable spraying coverage at all times.

ADJUSTABLE AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM

Chemical waste occurs when you aren’t able to direct the air and water to the target. Our exclusive rotating rear air outlets allow you to move the air instead of deflecting it, permitting accurate targeting.

BYPASS PROTECTION SYSTEM

Our exclusive bypass system comes standard with our control system.

It prevents diaphragm failure caused by over-pressuring by diverting the excess water pressure back into the tank during non-spraying mode, reducing maintenance and downtime while maintaining accurate spraying pressure to ensure coverage on outside rows.

TANK CRADLING SYSTEM

Unlike most other manufacturers, we don’t use our tank as a structural part of the chassis. Our chassis is heavy enough to cradle the tank, allowing it to move independently of the frame during operation.

CONTROL SYSTEM

Our sprayers come standard with electric ball valves allowing you to control the left or right boom with the flick of a switch. Optional electric pressure adjust to control pressure on the fly and optional hydraulic stainless steel ball valve controls for right and left boom operation are available.

Quality built L 21 spline Weasler run down clutch systems protects the working components of both your tractor and sprayer, reducing maintenance and downtime.

REGULATOR SYSTEM

Our pressure regulator is engineered with a diaphragm design, tungsten carbide relief valve and a stainless steel seat for improved durability and precision. This quality component along with our liquid filled gauge allows us to provide superior accuracy and control.

FRAME DESIGN

Our rectangular tubed frames are manufactured with the highest quality steel to handle the most rugged operating conditions. We’ve added a hand crank jack for ease of hookup and our heavy-duty axles are height adjustable to pair with the machine of your choice.

TURBO-MIST ™ FLEXIBILITY ORCHARD HEAD Our powder coated stainless steel Orchard heads are applicable for a variety of crops and are adjustable to direct air flow. The canoe shaped outlet is designed for precise concentration of air targeted for thick foliage. The outlets are easily changeable to towers or other Turbo-Mist™ attachments.

GRAPE TOWER Designed to ensure exceptional grape quality.

TURBO-MIST ™ FLEXIBILITY CANNONS We offer fixed (24") and hydraulic rotating (30") cannons. Requiring only 35 HP, these units are a fixed style designed to give coverage tight to the machine. Available in either short or tall configurations to suit a variety of crop applications with a reach of 60 to 90 feet.

SCORPION TOWER Designed narrow and tall to spray in tight growing conditions, the Scorpion tower is designed for maximum versatility. Whether you’re spraying a 12 or 8-foot drive, this heightadjustable attachment offers even airspeed through the opening and hits your target where you need it. Additional openings available to maximize air volume.

BLUEBERRY TOWER Designed for mature blueberry plantations to direct spray laden air to the top of the plant.

Used in conjunction with our traditional air outlets, this system improves coverage both on the inside and the outside of the blueberry bush by pushing down through canes into hard-toreach areas deep within the bush.

UTILITY SPRAYERS Our Utility Sprayers are geared towards the home hobbyist, smaller or commercial acreages that don’t require the tank capacity or specifications offered by our Light Duty, Standard, or Heavy Duty Turbo-Mist™ Sprayers. Our Sprayers can be used to spray weeds and are compatible with the use of herbicides. All utility sprayers are PTO or hydraulic driven.

MULTI-ROW SPRAYER The Multi-Row Airblast Sprayer allows configurations to spray two or three rows simultaneously. This sprayer utilizes an axial flow Sardi fan to produce large volumes of low velocity air to give the best coverage with low power inputs.

This Sprayer provides superior coverage, resulting in optimization of operations and time savings. The design of the Sprayer allows you to operate in close proximity to the target, reducing spray drift. Enjoy fuel savings from reduced horsepower requirements and labour savings from optimized coverage.

BLOWER FAN BASE Our PTO powered Blower Fans offer the ability to remove moisture and prevent splitting without damaging fruit. Available in two models with three different heads to suit different fruit drying applications, the Blowers use the same fan and gearbox as our Heavy Duty (HD) Turbo-Mist™ series, generating significant air volume while requiring minimal horsepower. All units offer the ability to target the airflow into specific areas to maximize their effect. Available in wheeled or 3-point hitch models.

STANDARD (SD) BLOWER BASE- 30” (S30PM55)

This model combines a 30” Blower Fan base with an adjustable Standard Head. This unit offers diverse product customization, as it is compatible with other Attachments in the Turbomist Product Catalogue.

HEAVY DUTY BASE (HD) BLOWER BASE- 38” (S38PM55)

Our largest and most powerful Blower Fan, the 38-inch turbine generates 57% more air volume than the standard model. Built specifically for the needs of the larger fruit grower, this model is not compatible with additional attachments or customization. Note: this model requires a minimum of 80 PTO horsepower.

LEAF + BERM BLOWER ATTACHMENT Our Ground Level Blowers are built to blow grape berms and leaves from the base of trees. They are used to clear debris in the weed spray area to ensure you maximize your spray coverage. This unit allows you to multi-task by blowing both sides of the drive row at the same time. They fit conveniently onto the Blower Fan Base.

BLOWER HEADS Our Blower Heads attach to the SD and HD Bases to provide crop-specific coverage that suits the unique needs of different growers.

All SD Fan Bases come equipped with a Standard Head.

STANDARD HEAD

The Standard air delivery head is included with the purchase of all Blower Fan Bases. It provides air over a 180-degree target area from left to the right side of the drive row. Available in both 30” and 38” diameter.

CHERRY HEAD

The Cherry Head air delivery system is designed specifically to direct air to match the fruit growing area. Available in both 30” and 38” diameter.

GRAPE HEAD

The Grape Head air delivery system is designed to target the specific fruit growing zone in vineyards. Available in both 30” and 38” diameter.

SERVICE TIPS / MAINTENANCE

Test and verify power supplies and electrical system • Check tractor lead and all wiring for continuity

Check belt and or Chain tension • Instruction in warranty book and owner’s manual on how to check for wear and set up.

Inspect wire harness and wires for wear: • Check wiring harness for continuity • Look for wear points

Clean or replace liquid filters

Test, clean and overhaul spray pressure regulator: • Disassemble and clean regulator spring and slide area • If Diaphragm is convex, replace • Clean all surfaces and check for any burrs • Grease all slide areas Pressure Gauge: • Make sure that the pressure gauge reads zero!

- Replace if necessary Pump diaphragms (Manufacturers recommend replacement every 500 hours) Install a new set of pump diaphragms: • Install new diaphragms and retainer bolts - Reinstall diaphragms and retainer bolts using blue Loctite - Do not use air tools on re-assembly of internal pump components - Inspect valve seats and springs for wear Change pump oil • Change Oil every 500 hours • Use Udor 30 weight non detergent oil, “REMEMBER” continually rotate pump while filling to remove air bubbles from crank case Change gearbox oil • Change gear box oil every 500 hours

Inspect and grease driveline • Inspect clutches for wear and broach clutches as per manufacturer recommendations • Check for wear in U joints Test controllers and electric valves • Check electric valve function with hoses disconnected from valves; this will prove that the valves are sealing and not leaking; • Then attach hose and repeat the same test; - If booms fail to shut down in a reasonable amount of time - Check hoses for bellowing - Check valve connection for missing O rings Replace worn or broken parts Fan Gear Box • Check to ensure that the gearbox shifts easily into high and low range - This is a stiff shift that may require the rotation of the fan manual to engage the gears; • If shifter is stuck or extremely stiff; - Remove shift gearbox cover and perform shifter maintenance procedure Fan

• Place fan gearbox into neutral - Rotate fan manually, listen to the fan bearing for potential failure

INSPECT FOR POTENTIAL FAILURES PTO steading bearing: • Check that bearings are greased • Check to make sure that seals are in place on bearings Sight Glass: • Check that sight glass is clear enough to visually see float ball Suction Filter O Ring: • Make sure that the suction filter O ring is not swollen or distorted • If it must be replaced, coat with EP2 grease and install Suction Intake Hose: • Check both ends of suction hose, ensure all required O Rings are in place • When reinstalling, grease O rings in these areas before reinstalling Tank Lid: • Ensure that tank lid has a seal Tank Suction Line: • Inspect to ensure that the suction line is firmly held in place!

Packing Gland • Check that the packing gland has maximum adjust potential!

Agitator Bearing: • Check for free rotation of bearing and pivot point (grease if necessary) Axles: • Check axles for movement - Simply push against the tire and check for movement - Jack-up sprayer and check that the axles’ grease is satisfactory Outlets • Check outlets to ensure that they move easily - This may require the outlets to be removed and surfaces cleaned and greased to allow outlet to move easily.

Nozzle Wear • Using the Tee Jet catalogue and a drill index: - Check each nozzle for wear!

PTO Covers and Guards • Make sure that PTO safety shields slide freely and all safety guards are in place Run sprayer at factory specs: • Test unit at 540 tractor RPM • Test both the high range and low range

Winterize sprayer for the off-season with anti-freeze.
