Slender Morris & ILIV 2021 2 X COLLECTIONS 1) KASBAH COLLECTION

The kasbah collection is an impactful and uplifting collection featuring bold colours and rich textiles, inspired by the fabrics found in every corner of the Moroccan markets and the historical patterns and yarns used to create them.

We have used a mix of substrates within the collection so some natural cotton/linen mixes for the more organic designs along with some richer velvets for the more vibrant colour stories.

For the kasbah pattern book we have used a new layout and featured more colour stories, 9 in total, with different combinations of designs and less options.

Kasbah The feature decorative ikat design of the collection, depicting the rich patterning and exuberant colours of the markets of kasbah and the vivid dyestuffs used. There are 4 colours, Forest, Anthracite, Navy and Ink printed onto a luxurious Italian velvet base suitable for both drapery and upholstery.

100% Polyester

Boho The same design as Kasbah only in the mid tone and lighter ground shades - Sage, Glacier, Tan, Begonia and Shell and printed onto a new textural basket weave base with a Viscose linen cotton content. The base cloth gives the gives the design a lovely authentic hand crafted feel.

Suitable for both drapery and upholstery.

Marrakech A striking two tone Ikat design printed onto a cotton half panama base. Marrakech comes in a range of vibrant colours.

Emerald, Begonia and Ink along which along with the monochromatic shades of Anthracite and Canvas makes for an impactful interior.

100% BCI Cotton

Mendoza The woven version of Marrakech in a range of soft earthy shades , Merino, Almond, Sage, Anthracite, Lead and Glacier, which have the appearance of being traditionally hand dyed.

Within the softly flowing Ikat design the weave structure has a raised herringbone technique and this combined with the viscose, linen content gives the product a beautiful soft handle.

Prairie Animals Finely detailed hand drawn animals printed onto cotton half panama in range of contemporary and colourful shades designed to add fun and bring the kasbah Vibe inside. The design comes in an array of colours Forest, Seagrass, Almond, Anthracite, Lead, Denim, Clementine 100% BCI Cotton

Souk A tonal printed stripe onto cotton half panama offering a simpler co-ordinate to the more decorative fabrics in the collection. Available in Almond, Anthracite, Ink and Shell.

Ashiki A striking cotton/linen embroidery featuring a repeated Ikat motif onto a cotton linen base cloth. Embroidered in a range of dynamic colours Emerald, Begonia and Navy. .

70% Cotton 30% Linen with Rayon Embroidery

Bazaar Based on the smaller scale global geometric patterning which is currently on trend, Bazaar has been designed to add a more structural and luxurious element to the collection. This vibrant velvet comes in 3 shades Emerald. Begonia and Navy. Suitable for both drapery and upholstery.

51% Viscose 49% Polyester

Indus A relaxed , natural stripe bringing a classical element to the collection. This timeless design is a vertical warp coloured stripe with an interesting herringbone and geometric technique within the weave. It looks wonderful on upholstery. Indus is woven in a range of colours, Shell, Sage, Glacier being the softer earthy shades and Ink, Begonia, Navy the more dynamic colours. Suitable for both drapery and upholstery.

The Winter Garden collection is based on nature inspired patterns and the Arts and Crafts trend which is enjoying a renaissance in today’s Interior homewares.

The collection features several statement and highly decorative designs on a mix of luxurious base cloths and in glorious colour palettes.

For this book similar designs have been worked on a number of base cloths so there are more colour stories, 10 in total, and less designs within each story.
