LEGACY EVENT CENTRE

WELCOME Thank you for considering the Legacy Centre for your upcoming event. Located in Slave Lake, Alberta, we offer a unique setting for your upcoming event. From our open air atrium with floor-to-ceiling windows that allows for plenty of natural light to our top of the line, fully stocked chefs kitchen, our beautiful venue is the ideal location to host your event.

Venue amenities include the Elks Hall, with over 10,000 square feet of open space, a fully equipped theatre, retractable bleacher seating, green rooms, 2 meeting rooms, a catered bar with service provided by the local Elks club as well as a $250,000 sound system providing your guests the opportunity to experience professional acoustics for whatever audio and video requirements you may have.

We look forward to working with you to make your vision for your event come to life. We have hosted a variety of experiences for our clients including weddings, receptions, company parties, courses, live performances, dance performances, speakers, tradeshows, movies, Christmas concerts, company meetings, non-profit fundraisers, Christmas parties, anniversary and birthday parties and much more.

The Legacy Centre was built as part of the recovery efforts from the 2011 wildfire and features a commemoration of that as well as other events in the storied history of Slave Lake.

The Legacy Centre is happy to take care of your table set up and take down, as well we can offer suggestions for layout options to best suit your specific event.

The only thing you need to do is decide is the colour of your tablecloths and any other unique décor for your event.

We can offer round tables that seat up to 8, 6’ rectangle tables and 8’ rectangle tables as well. In the Elks Hall there is the capacity for 800 guests if there is standing room only. With bleachers and floors seating we can accommodate 490, with tables and chairs we can set up for is 350, with liquor service it is a maximum of 300 guests.

We offer a large parking lot (free of charge), and the Legacy Centre is handicap accessible. Service animals are welcome.

Your guests can stay connected through our free wifi, available throughout the facility.

If you are planning on service alcohol, we have a fully catered bar that is provided by the Elks Club. You may bring in bottles of wine for your tables, all other alcohol is served by the Elks Club

Elks Hall Elks Hall includes retractable bleacher seating and/or tables and chairs set up to your preferred layout choice. Basic sound set up is included in your rental fees. We also will take care of the take down of the table and chairs after your event. All you need to worry about is decorating for your event, taking down and cleaning up your personalized dĂŠcor after your event.

Atrium, stage and green rooms are included in Weekend and Day Rates.

Atrium The Atrium, which is the lobby of the facility, is a great location for a variety of events including cocktail receptions or a fun run home base. The Atrium is available for rent after 5pm weekdays and full days Saturday and Sunday.

We do ask that you return the kitchen to the same level of cleanliness you received it in.
