Herbert Hoover, the 31st President of the United States said, "Children are our most valuable resource." Children represent our future, and the most important thing we can do is invest in the lives of our own children and the children of our community.

to offer outpatient and schoolbased therapy services to more than 400 children and families. Our newest program, Miracle Heights Adventures, is expanding their work in 2020 and will open to school and corporate teams later this year.

At Crossnore School & Children's Home, we are investing in the lives of the next generation every day. Your partnership with us is invaluable in that investment and helps to change the future for North Carolina's most vulnerable children.

As this report is published, the world is in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis. While we met our fundraising goals for 2019, we especially need your help right now to make a difference for these children. Your donations are money well-spent at Crossnore, as 93% of every dollar donated goes directly into children's services.

Our work continued to grow in our fiscal year 2019. We expanded our residential department with the addition of a newly renovated cottage in Winston-Salem and are currently serving more than 130 children in 21 campus cottages. Our community foster care program exceeded their goal of 100 licensed foster families by the end of 2019, and is currently serving nearly 80 children in foster homes. Clinical services continues

CLINICAL SERVICES Crossnore offers outpatient clinical services to children in our residential cottages, community-based foster homes, outpatient, and school-based programs. These services also include medication management with our staff psychiatrist.
