For culture vultures and building buffs, the People’s History Museum ticks all the boxes in its converted Edwardian pumping station while the John Rylands Library’s jaw-dropping Gothic interior and towering façade never fail to turn heads.

Getting about is easy, Manchester’s famed tram system is the largest in the UK. MediaCityUK has a Metrolink station which connects residents and commuters across Manchester and Salford and there are also plans to build a Metrolink route connecting MediaCityUK to the intu Trafford Centre for completion 2019/2020. The X50 bus connects the neighbourhood to the city centre and the Trafford Centre.

Car drivers enjoy good connections to the national motorway network, particularly the trans-Pennine M62 for access to Birmingham, Liverpool and Leeds. And it’s walkable – City Mews is only 8 minutes on foot from the centre.
