Simpler Times.

We tend to believe that once upon a time life was simpler, less technology, less stuff, and less must-haves. Maybe it was, or maybe nostalgia just has a way of glossing over facts making us believe that the past was more beautiful than the present can ever be.

What if there is a place where people still live with higher goals making do with only hand me downs and basic necessities. The children of Beis Shemesh yungeleit know that it's their greatest privilege to have fathers that learn all day.

But, When the Gemara is closed and lights are dimmed there are children that need to be fed, clothing that needs to be bought, and rent that needs to be paid. At the end of the day there is a family that needs to be supported.

We all need them to go on. We need to know that in one corner of this world there is a group of yungeleit that do what they do best. And, though we might not be able to live their life, the least we can do is help them live it. And learn they do. Living in an environment of Torah their daily chit chat revolves around the sugya. Walking to and from Kollel they continue to discuss their only interest, the Gemara.
