Docent Spotlight

For Sue Polep and Sonia Bordo, docenting is a family affair. The sisters have a combined forty-six years of service with the Skirball docent program. “It’s given us a really wonderful bridge, an extra bond in our relationship through a shared passion.”

These days the two are hard at work getting ready for Blacklist: The Hollywood Red Scare . “One joy of touring is what you learn and share, and the other is what you gain. The spark you get from people. You get laughter, you get stories. It’s not just a one-way street. We love to see the response from the public.”
