Windsync, the Daedalus Quartet, and bassist Doug Balliett perform Martinů’s Nonet No. 2, and cellist Julia Bruskin joins the Daedalus in Schubert’s Quintet in C Major. Soprano Katherine Whyte combines with Windsync and the Daedalus in a night of Italian music capped by Musetta’s waltz from La Bohème. Conductor David Zinman returns to lead the Skaneateles Festival Orchestra in Mozart’s Piano Concerto in C Major with soloist Misha Dichter and Symphony No. 38. Daniel Hege conducts Fauré’s Requiem with the Antioch Chamber Ensemble, and later leads members of ECCO in Copland’s Appalachian Spring. Elgar’s Sonata for Violin and Piano features Jesse Mills and Aaron Wunsch, while Ute Lemper brings cabaret classics to Robinson Pavilion. The Claremont Trio performs Gabriela Lena Frank’s Folk Songs, Beethoven’s Archduke Trio, and Shostakovich. Finally, jazz prodigy Joey Alexander performs with his trio, and Brandon Ridenour joins ECCO for Saint-Saëns’ Septet.
