Paul Hersh speaks on Schubert for Meet the Music and joins the Chicago String Quartet for Brahms’ Piano Quintet alongside works by Haydn and Dvořák. Tenor Marcus Haddock performs Vaughan Williams’ On Wenlock Edge and five arias. A performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet features Larry Combs, Andrés Cárdenes, Hilary Hahn, Melissa Micciche, and Anne Martindale Williams. Robert Weirich and soprano Rebecca Karpoff premiere Weirich’s Going Home. For the finale, Victor Yampalsky conducts Hilary Hahn in Barber’s Violin Concerto.
