Veeville is the quintessential design and technology company. We believe good problems make for good enterprise. Since our inception in the early seventies [that’s when some of the founders were born] we have constantly sought problems and diligently gone about finding solutions that are simple, effective, fun and rewarding.
We design a whole lot of things. Content and communication design [print, digital, film], employee engagement programs, experiential workshops, technology and more.

The posters below were designed as an ad for Cothas.co, a coffee company that recently started a line of cookies. I was in-charge of Product photography. I was tasked to come up with ideas for the photos which were to be used in the poster. I was helped and guided by my mentor who was in-charge of designing the posters. The posters below are the final product of this assignment.

Poster Design
The posters below were designed as a mood board for Bentosfood.co. The task of designing an ad poster was given to me and I had to work under my mentor to design this poster. This task helped me understand composition and the basics of poster design. I was provided with the content for the poster and was told to come up the composition myself. The two posters below are the final products of this assignment.

The SNTPS Corporate Company had requested for a certificate for general use and had their own corporate guidelines for designs used by their company and this task was given to veeville. I was given the task to design the best employee certificate. Working under my mentor the designs below were achieved.

Documentary Shoot
Levie’s team wanted to shoot to documnet their local warehouse manufacturing units and how these units handled the pandemic situation. This task was given to Veeville.
I was part of the shoot team assisting them in the shoot, I was also given a task to document the shoot for veeville. These are some behind the scenes shots from the shot.

Stock PHOTO SHOOT
VEEVILLE WANTED SOME Stock PHOTOS THAT CAN BE USED IN THEIR DESIGNS AND HENCE I WAS GIVEN THE TASK OF CLICKING SOME Stock PHOTOS IN AND AROUND THE OFFICE WHICH CAN BE USED AS STocK PHOTOS BY THE COMPANY. THE ONES SHOWN BELOW ARE A FEW OF THE STALK PHOTOS I CLICKED FOR THE COMPANY.

Mock-up Design
Veeville was looking to make some mock-ups for their clients with real world examples, and hence the task of finding locations where ads and fliers could be put up in the real world was given to me. So i had to find real world places and shoot them and edit them for future use as mock-ups by the company. Below are a few examples.

Misc Work
Veeville had a very interactive office spaces and a very creative people to work with, and hence they offered a lot of creative work other than just the office work, I was given the chance to capture the basic work environment and exercises like photo manipulation to increase my understanding of the softwares like Photoshop, and simultaneously increase the speed of my work flowvvvvv.

Diagram Design
Flashprep required graphic designer to condense and simplify diagrams that exist in the nCert text books for various grades from viii - xii. This had me working with a graphic team with my mentor as the head designer and a group of content writers who would specify the requirements for the day with a reference image and it was up-to me to come up with innovative designs which were simple to understand and easy to remember by the users, ALSO IT HAD TO BE VISUALLY PLEASING.

FLASHPREP had this exercise meant for the graphic design team, where all the content is collected by the individual designer and the deck is designed only by the individual graphic designer. the content team is excluded from this exercise. The topic was to be a generic topic, which doesn’t necessarily have any weight-age in academics, I got the chance to design a few of these desks, and a few are shown below.

CMS Interface Design 14
CMS is Flashprep’s Developer mode Interface for content writers and graphic design team which is used to create decks in the app. The company had plans on inviting external content providers who would help make the decks in the app. Because of this the company needed a user guide design for CMS, this task was given to me and another co worker, the below design is what we came up with.

Flashprep is very active on social media, especially on Instagram. The task of designing social media posts for the companies Instagram page was given to the design team, I was not very active in handling the social media page, but occasionally i was also given the task of designing the posts. Because of the covide situation the company wanted to spread awareness from its many platforms among its users and followers and I was given the task of designing a few info graphics for the company which are show below.
Working at veeville was a fun and a very informative experience. Working under highly experienced co-workers helped me learn a lot about Photography and graphic design, for example i learned how exactly a Photo shoot is conducted and what are all the underlying process that have to take place even before going to the field. In the graphic design field I was shown different methods with which i could approach a design and the importance of hierarchy in a composition which definitely helped me in the days past the internship.

WORKING AT VEEVILLE WAS A FUN AND A VERY INFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE. WORKING UNDER HIGHLY EXPERIENCED CO-WORKERS HELPED ME LEARN A LOT ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY AND GRAPHIC DESIGN, FOR EXAMPLE I LEARNED HOW EXACTLY A PHOTO SHOOT IS CONDUCTED AND WHAT ARE ALL THE UNDERLYING PROCESS THAT HAVE TO TAKE PLACE EVEN BEFORE GOING TO THE FIELD. IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN FIELD I WAS SHOWN DIFFERENT METHODS WITH WHICH I COULD APPROACH A DESIGN AND THE IMPORTANCE OF HIERARCHY IN A COMPOSITION WHICH DEFINITELY HELPED ME IN THE DAYS PAST THE INTERNSHIP.

Working at FlashPrep showed me the essence of proffesional life. Everyday I was given a unique task, and my objective was to find the best solution to a design problem. Working with other interns was helpful, there was so much to learn from them and how they approached the design and their style of design. Facing a deadline everyday was very helpful for me to learn time management and increase my speed and understanding when working with certain softwares. Overall the experience was good.
