FROM THE HEADTEACHER
At St Thomas More Language College we are aspirational for our students and committed to supporting the formation and achievement of every pupil, spiritually, emotionally and academically.
Whilst we receive government funding for every pupil, it has not kept pace with inflation and is no longer enough to provide the education that is key to a Saint John Southworth Catholic Academy Trust school.
The Giving from the Heart Fund was set up to bridge this gap With the support of our community, we can enrich the education your child receives, providing extra opportunities such as experience days, workshops and residential trips These experiences help them grow and reach their full potential.
The recommended donation we are asking for is £300 per year per child, which can be given throughout the year in smaller monthly donations of £25 per month. However, there is no expectation beyond what feels right for you, but if you are in a position to contribute, we would be deeply grateful. Currently, some families give £10 per month, others give £200 per month. Every contribution makes a difference. What matters most is participation.
