This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our progressional curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and shoes

Skyhawks Tennis

Grab your tennis racket and get ready to play! Whether your child is a beginning or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players.

Skyhawks Volleyball

Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled program All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on bumping, setting, spiking, hitting, and serving This camp is designed for the beginning to intermediate player Participants should wear appropriate clothing and gym shoes.

DANCE FOR FUN (iNCLUSION)

Come join us for some fun group dancing! Enjoy a new theme every week, with an open dance studio to dance your heart out! There is no right way to dance, so put on your dancing shoes and let's get up and dance together! Participants must be able to participate in a 1:6 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant

FUN FOR ALL!

This program focuses on fun with music, games, arts and crafts, movement activities, and a field trip This play program is designed for children with autism spectrum disorders Children should bring a sack lunch to class each week. Participants must be able to function in a 1 to 3 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant for personal care. Attendants will be required to pass a City of San Jose background check in programs that serve youth under 18 years of age

Inclusive Active Sports

Let's play some table tennis, also known as ping pong! How about some basketball, or even some brisk walking as a group? This group is an inclusive group for those who want to come socialize and play table tennis, basketball, and stay active with friends! Participants must be able to participate in a 1:6 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant

SENSORY SCIENCE FUN!

This course is specifically designed to empower individuals with disabilities to engage in hands-on scientific investigations through sensory-based projects This unique class combines the excitement of scientific inquiry with a focus on accommodating diverse sensory needs and enhancing the learning experience for every participant Participants must be able to function in a 1:10 staff ratio, or have a guardian or caregiver present

EDIBLE CINEMA (INCLUSION)

Join us for a unique way to experience cinema! Let’s explore our favorite movies through aroma, textures, taste, and more Each participant will enjoy a snack made tailored to the movie we are watching for the week of Program time will vary depending on movie length Each participant must be able to function in a 1:10 staff ratio. If a participant requires further assistance, a caregiver may attend the program for additional support

Fun With Arts

Come and enjoy different art forms such as coloring, drawing, painting and more! This art class is directed towards teen and young adults with disabilities Each week we will try different art forms We'll get to socialize with others by showing our art with each other once completed Participants must be able to participate in a 1:6 staff to participant ratio and independent with personal care needs or provide an attendant.

LET'S PLAY GAMES!

Come and play some social games such as bingo, Loteria, Connect Four, Jenga, and more! We will get to play many games to stimulate our brains and to socialize with our friends! Ranger Hike At Emma Prusch

Join us for an inclusive and enriching outdoor experience as we embark on an Accessible Nature Hike at the picturesque Emma Prusch Farm Park Led by experienced Park Rangers, this guided hike is tailored to provide an engaging and accessible exploration of the park's natural wonders During the hike, participants will have the opportunity to connect with nature, observe local wildlife, and learn about the unique ecosystems that thrive within the park Our knowledgeable park rangers will share fascinating insights about the plants, animals, and history of Emma Prusch Farm Park, ensuring an educational and captivating journey for all Program will be taking place AT Emma Prusch Farm Park All participants will meet at Emma Prusch at 12:00 pm. All participants must function with a 1:10 staff ratio, or an attendant must be enrolled if additional support is needed
