SCHOLARSHIPS CITYWIDE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ENSURES THAT QUALIFYING SAN JOSÉ RESIDENTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO PARTICIPATION IN DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS, CLASSES, AND ACTIVITIES. Scholarships are available for families and individuals who meet the qualifications. Families must apply in person at a community center during regular operating hours. Scholarships can be used at any program location and at all three of the City of San José Municipal Golf Courses (Los Lagos, Rancho del Pueblo, and San José Municipal).

Using LEGO® SPIKE Prime, students will build and program robots inspired by tomorrow’s technology, exploring automation and innovation through hands-on STEM challenges. No experience needed—just curiosity and a creative spark!

MUSIC & MOVEMENT Perfect for children who are eager to explore but not yet toilet trained, this engaging class offers a joyful mix of music, movement, story time, sensory play, and simple arts & crafts. MINI GYM STARS

SOCCERTOTS

A great beginner gymnastic class teaching basic gymnastic skills, including movement exploration, balance, and coordination, and at the same time teaching agility and improving motor skills. Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital.

Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. Classes focus on developing motor skills and self-confidence. Core soccer skills are taught as well as an introduction to light competition. Instructor-to-student ratio is kept small to maximize individual development, and above all else we promote fun, fun, fun!

HOCKEYTOTS This program is designed for children ages 3-5 years and is a safe and fun way for your child to learn the fundamentals of hockey. The goals are to teach basic concepts and technique of field, street, and ice hockey. Classes will emphasize passing, puck/ball handling, shooting, teamwork, and safety. No checking is allowed and appropriate sized sticks will be used. Parent participation required children under the age of 3.5 years.

FLAG FOOTBALL Flag Football is the perfect introduction to “America’s Game.” Participants learn skills on both sides of the football - including the core components of passing, catching, de-flagging and defense - all presented in a fun and positive environment. OCEAN LIFE PASTEL CAMP

ANIMAL ART ADVENTURES

Four, fun-filled days await our students as we explore ocean life and as they learn to draw and color with pastels. We will create detailed, pastel compositions each day, focusing on a different ocean-themed subject. We will draw eye-catching sea stars along the shoreline and a pair of vibrant clown fish. We will illustrate a sea turtle with bold patterns, a blue crab, and a wondrous scene of jellyfish. Our instruction will bring remarkable results, and you will want to head to the frame shop with your child’s finished pastel pieces. These pastel drawings will reward students with a great sense of pride and accomplishment. Enroll today!

Join us this summer at San José Family Camp at Yosemite Family Camp at Yosemite is an all-inclusive camp where you can fish, hike, swim, take part in organized programs, and relax. Camp is open to anyone who loves camping. Camp is along the Tuolumne River, near Yosemite National Park, east of Groveland, California. It's a great experience the whole family will enjoy, so join us this summer and reserve your tent today! Camp has 65 wood-framed canvas tents, some with electricity and ADA access.
