LEARN TO ROLLER SKATE: PARENT & ME

Intro to roller skating is suitable for beginners and skaters with basic experience Instructors will provide fun and exciting activities that focuses on the mechanics of skating, balance, moving forward and backwards. All classes that are cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled All equipment will be provided

Futsal is very similar to traditional soccer, but is more fast paced and played on a hard court This is the perfect program for any first-time futsal player Participants will learn the fundamentals of futsal and technical skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting from an experienced coach *Shin guards are required for this activity*

This great program is perfect for youth ages 6-12 looking to learn roller hockey Inline skating is preferred but not required Participants will learn the fundamentals of hockey and how to skate, taught by experienced hockey coaches and players. All equipment will be provided

PICKLEBALL DROP-IN

A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong which can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. Played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes Played as doubles or singles and be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels

Dodgeball Mania

Your favorite P E game is now a class! Kids love this class It is more than just a game, kids learn throwing, catching techniques and of course, the learn how to dip, dive, duck and of course DODGE a ball They will participate in a variety of skills challenges, competition and games that will lead to a dodgeball tournament Your children will learn new skills while having a blast and making new friends

The City of San Jose offers activity scholarships for children, seniors, and adults with disabilities who qualify Scholarships will cover 50-70% of the class cost Fill out the scholarship form and bring the necessary documents to any City of San Jose community center

Required attire: Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing and shoes

**This class will be Co-Sponsored with Mayfair Community Center and will be held at their field at 2039 Kammerer Ave, San Jose, CA 95116**
