Zumba 18+ A Zumba class is a dynamic and exhilarating fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. It incorporates interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms, to help improve cardiovascular fitness. The atmosphere in a Zumba class is typically energetic and fun, focusing on enjoying the music and the movements rather than perfecting each step. Participants of all fitness levels can join, as the moves can often be modified to suit different abilities. The class usually lasts about an hour and is led by a certified Zumba instructor who guides the participants through various dance styles such as salsa, reggaeton, merengue, and cumbia, ensuring a full-body workout that feels more like a dance party than a fitness session.

Volleyball Camp @Silver Creek Linear Park Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled program. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on bumping, setting, spiking, hitting and serving. This camp is designed for the beginning to intermediate player. Please wear appropriate clothing and gym shoes. Bring several snacks and a water bottle. All participants receive an award certificate, Skyhawks t-shirt and ball.

At Camp San Jose your child will participate in an unforgettable summer day camp experience combining summer camp traditions with enrichment and educational activities. Children will play crazy fun games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, sing funny songs, and embark on a weekly field trip. Activities incorporate educational features disguised in fun and entertaining activities and projects. Price includes a low leader to child ratio of 1:10, field trips, a Camp San Jose shirt, skill building, new friendships, disguised learning and much more! *Families opting not to participate in field trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their child(ren) not attending the trip. The San José Recreation Preschool program offers children, 3 to 5 year olds, and their families educational and recreational experiences that support their imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Children prepare for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment. The San Jose Recreation Preschool Program is adhering to all Santa Clara County, Public Health guidelines to ensure the health and well-being of students and staff.

KINDERPREP This class prepares your child for kindergarten with age-appropriate activities, learning concepts, socialization skills, and fun. Your child will gain a basic understanding of shapes, colors, pre-phonics, literacy building (i.e. identifying letter sounds, writing the alphabet and simple words), number recognition, and counting up to 30. The goal is to have fun, participate, and learn. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class. Requirements for parent participation will vary by center.

LITTLE LEARNERS Children will be introduced to socialization, positive self-esteem, following directions, and simple learning concepts. Children will work on hand-eye coordination and motor skills while gaining independence through the use of circle time, music, songs, stories, play, and arts and crafts. Food will be provided for cooking activities and may be provided for special events. Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted. THE HATCHERY This program is an opportunity to introduce preschoolers to farm life and animals at Emma Prusch Farm Park. Activities will include caring for our farm animals, songs, stories, crafts, garden fun, and games to develop socialization skills, eye-hand coordination, and motor skills.
