PUBLIC SPEAKING CONFIDENT SPEAKERS & WRITERS This class is filled with fun activities teaching young children the life-long skills. They learn how to stand tall and speak confidently in front of a group. They begin to understand the concepts and importance of maintaining eye contact, good posture, volume, and expressions. This class helps them give structure to their thoughts improving their writing skills. Shy as well as talkative one’s alike benefit from this class as we do fun activities including tongue-twister challenges, storytelling, poem recitals and presentations.

Grab your tennis racket and get ready to play!

Whether your child is a beginning or intermediate player, this program will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis. Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players.

Class Playable on almost any surface, these soccerthemed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. Classes focus on developing motor skills and self-confidence. Core soccer skills are taught as well as an introduction to light competition. Instructor-to-student ratio is kept small to maximize individual development, and above all else we promote fun, fun, fun!

Learning basketball has never been more fun! This parent participation class uses a variety of props, songs, and games to engage kids. Simple hand-eye, and movement skills are developed using engaging games with appropriate sized and safe equipment.

PRE-SOCCER Teaches the basic techniques of the game and builds self-esteem through participation and fun soccer activities. Children learn to follow instructions in a nurturing, age appropriate environment. All participants receive a Kidz Love Soccer jersey!

JEWELRY MAKING - MONDAYS

Yin Yoga is the type of Yoga that is mellow, slow, and focuses on long held stretches on the floor and standing. It focuses on range-of-motion (ROM) on the joints of the body.

In doing so, it energizes all the muscle groups and gives the joints the encouragement and ability to be fluid and flexible, enhancing mobility. Perfect for inactive as well as active folks, as class members work at their own pace and their own ROM. No soreness after a session, relaxing and refreshing for both mind and body.

Do you enjoy making jewelry? So do we! Come and join us in sharing jewelry making techniques and ideas. Supplies and materials are included. Mask are required for all indoor activities.

AEROBICS

Join us for a morning jolt to get your day going! This is a volunteer run class with lost of energy to share. The workout is great for any active senior. At Berryessa's President's Break Camp your child will participate in an unforgettable camp experience combining camp traditions with enriching and educational activities. The campers will participate in games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Price includes a low leader to child ratio of 1:10, skill building, new friendships, learning projects and much more! *Safety is our main priority and we will continue to follow all Santa Clara County and state of California guidelines. Starbird Youth Center is free for all registered students Regular attendance is required to stay enrolled. Consistent absences will result in removal from program and space will be offered to the next student on the waiting list

In person at Starbird Youth Center Maximum enrollment is 40 students.

The program is for students ages 6 to 13.

Starbird Youth Center es gratuito para todos los estudiantes registrados.

Se requiere asistencia regular para permanecer inscrito. Las ausencias constantes resultaran en la retiracion del programa y se ofrecerá el espacio al proximo estudiante en la lista de espera.

INFORMACIÓN DE REGISTRO La registracion se llevara acabo en persona en Starbird Youth Center el Miercoles 3 de Agosto @ 10am.

La inscripción maxima es de 40 estudiantes.

El programa es para estudiantes de 6 a 13 años.
