MINI-HAWK (BASEBALL & SOCCER)

This multi-sport program was developed to give 4 to 7 year-old a positive first step into athletics Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun Through games and activities, participants explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

First Touch Futsal

Futsal is a fun, fast paced 5V5 soccer game, played indoors, within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounced ball In this class players participate in fun educational games Classes focus on increasing balance, coordination, and fundamentals futsal skills We utilize creative fun activities to help kids to cooperate in a group setting and build self esteem in our fun low pressure environment

Advanced Futsal

Gives the opportunity to receive high-level Futsal instruction in a group setting. Emphasis of the program will be on the player development, focusing on ball skills and ball manipulation High quality coaches will take the players through a number of different attacking/defensive scenarios, helping players make more informed decisions The players will focus on learning how to play as a cohesive unit and will learn the tactics of the game.

Players of all levels follow our innovative age-specific curriculum, to improve individual technical ability Every week participants get the chance to show off their new skills with a scrimmage to the sounds of salsa beats! LINE DANCE IMPROVER/INTERMEDIATE

Have fun and burn calories while you expand your knowledge and expertise in line dancing Put on your dancing shoes or boots and join the fun! Tai Chi Beginning

Open to first-time registrants and to previous attendees who have not fully mastered the tai chi basics and the 24-form yang style tai chi routine. Beginning tai chi introduces new participants to the basics of Yang style tai chi They will learn the names of and practice individual forms or movements and incorporate them into a sequence of forms to comprise the 24-form tai chi. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that will not hinder movement of legs and arms

TAI CHI ADDITION: SWORD PRACTICE (TAI CHI STUDENTS ONLY)

To enroll in this optional sword practice, participants must be enrolled in Tai Chi Intermediate/Advanced (Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am) This is a supplement to the class and is not required in order to attend Tai Chi. In this practice, Tai Chi students will learn and practice the Tai Chi sword using plastic retractable swords There is no fighting or physical contact between students The movements are set to music and becomes a "dance" exercise.
