FUNDAMENTALS OF DRAWING

We are back to school and back to drawing with Young Rembrandts! This session selection of drawing introduces our students to a fascinating world of color, pattern, and design. We say goodbye to our favorite summer memory in our detailed still life drawing of a beach We explore color usage and composition in our silly monster and fire truck drawings

You will be moved with our stylized cow drawing that not only challenges our techniques but also our color scheme Our students will learn cultural themes as they draw and color Kawaii art. Hurry back in and register for these back-to school favorites

This course teaches young students the essentials of building confidence in public speaking Taught using the fun concepts of (don't) show and tell, storytelling (scary and funny stores!), reciting poems, pretend games, this is excellent class to start developing confidence in young students in a fun way The participants learn how to stand tall and speak confidently in front of a group They begin to understand the concepts and importance of maintaining eye contact, good posture, volume and expressions

BASKETBALL BADMINTON

This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players Using our professional curriculum, we focus on the whole player-teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense

Learning basketball has never been more fun! This is the progression class for Froggies More challenging skills and new concepts are introduced The emphasis is on individual basketball skill development and fitness.

This multi-sport program was developed to give 4 to 7 year-old a positive first step into athletics Sports are taught in a safe, structured environment filled with encouragement and fun Through games and activities, participants explore balance, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

Futsal is a fun, fast paced 5V5 soccer game, played indoors, within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounced ball In this class players participate in fun educational games Classes focus on increasing balance, coordination, and fundamentals futsal skills We utilize creative fun activities to help kids to cooperate in a group setting and build self esteem in our fun low pressure environment

Gives the opportunity to receive high-level Futsal instruction in a group setting. Emphasis of the program will be on the player development, focusing on ball skills and ball manipulation High quality coaches will take the players through a number of different attacking/defensive scenarios, helping players make more informed decisions The players will focus on learning how to play as a cohesive unit and will learn the tactics of the game.

REFUND/ TRANSFER POLICY

Refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing. Refunds and transfers will be given for requests received at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. No refunds or transfers will be made for cancellations received by the City less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. There will be a $10 refund processing fee for EACH activity.

LEISURE CLASS POLICIES

Our method of registration is designed to odder equal access to all San Jose residents.

Customers can register for any class at the PRNS facility or online. The City does not guarantee participation from one session tot he next. All online, walk-in, mailed, faxed registration will be treated in the same manner. San Jose residents will be given first priority to register. Registration forms will be processed in the order they were received. If a class instructor is absent or a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be added to the end of the session.
