Tai Chi Beginning

Open to first-time registrants and to previous attendees who have not fully mastered the tai chi basics and the 24-form yang style tai chi routine Beginning tai chi introduces new participants to the basics of Yang style tai chi They will learn the names of and practice individual forms or movements and incorporate them into a sequence of forms to comprise the 24-form tai chi Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that will not hinder movement of legs and arms

TAI CHI INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED

Open to participants who feel competent in the basic forms in Yang style tai chi, the names of the forms, and the 24-Yang style tai chi. This class' sessions will comprise of several kinds of lessons and practice: (a) refinement of the 24-form tai chi, (b) learning and practicing other forms of tai chi - 13-form, 37-form, 42form, 108-form, (c) learning and practicing sword and fan forms of tai chi

Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun and engaging sport designed for seniors This racquet sport, in which 2-4 players use a solid paddle to hit a lightweight ball over a net, uses the same dimensions as badminton. The rules of the game are similar to tennis, with a few modifications. This is an open-play session Beginners and all levels are welcome! Volunteers are available to teach new participants how to play.
