Cheat sheet: for VMOs
You should expect assessors to ask you questions about:
The process that you undergo when you are credentialed or recredentialed.
Your participation in clinical review committees (mortality and morbidity meetings, craft group meetings, participation in clinical reviews, and other clinical-based committees).
Variation of care or effectiveness of care and how you are involved or participate in this process.
If you supervise junior doctors or medical staff, how you provide supervision to them.
If your appointment at the hospital involves research or clinical trials, what the approvals process and governance is for these.
Your mandatory training, including hand hygiene, BLS/ALS training or other prescribed training.
