2021-2022
ST. JOHN ANNUAL REPORT

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Friends,

It has been a year of change and challenge, but one also marked by many accomplishments. We never dreamed that daily Covid-19 mitigation, quarantine and distance learning would play such a prominent role in our lives, but our faculty, staff, students and parents rose to the occasion We embraced suffering and unveiled goodness

We feel confident that we have fulfilled our mission of giving our students a Christ-centered education which helped them grow in faith, knowledge, and service to others. I am immensely proud of the way our community worked together in navigating the uncharted waters we faced God is Good

We worked hard to emphasize the importance of our Catholic faith during these trying times of mitigation and distance learning With everything from virtual masses, communal prayer services and with increased charity we helped our students and teachers stay on course and complete the school year in a positive, successful manner. Discipleship formation persevered.

I would like to thank all our donors who continue to offer their generous support to make a difference in the lives of our students We are grateful for your commitment to our school You are modeling our mission and helping to prepare our students to practice their faith and make a difference throughout their lives We can look back, with confidence, knowing the 2021-2022 school year, in spite of all the challenges put before us, was successful in many ways.

On behalf of the St John Notre Dame School faculty, staff, and especially the students, I offer my heartfelt thanks and our deepest gratitude God bless you

Yours in Notre Dame,

WE EMBRACED SUFFERING AND UNVEILED GOODNESS.

FINANCIAL REPORT

ST. JOHN NOTRE DAME ANNUAL REPORT 2022 4

THE COST TO EDUCATE THE CHILD

While we realize tuition makes up the majority of our revenue, the school receives additional funds through fundraising and tuition assistance, which is used to educate our students For the 2021-22 school year the actual cost to educate the child was $8,443 ; while our tuition rate for one Catholic student was $6,460 If you consider the tuition that is paid for one student, you will see that each student received a discount of $1,943 due to fundraising

EXPENSES

REVENUE SOURCES

Once again, we would like to thank all of our families and community members who helped in any way with our fundraisers last year Whether you chaired or attended an event, bought raffle tickets, donated time or money, we are grateful for your contribution The success of our fundraising directly affects our tuition rates and we appreciate any and all support
