I am thrilled to be joining the San Jose Country Club family. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, my career began as a Food and Beverage Director at Deerwood Country Club. I then moved on to St. Johns Golf & Country Club (then managed by Billy Casper Golf), where I eventually became the Regional Director of Sales for the Southeast. In 2016, I was part of the opening team for Topgolf Jacksonville and set the company’s opening sales record.
Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to the role of Director of Membership at Ponte Vedra Inn & Club & Lodge & Club. I later returned to St. Johns Golf & Country Club to work on a clubhouse renovation and expansion project. Most recently, I served as the Vice President of Hospitality for Purple Horse Hospitality, overseeing membership, food and beverage, and event sales for private country club clients nationwide.
Outside of work, I am happily married to my supportive husband, TJ, and we have six children together: Triston (21), Aubrie (17), Maddy (16), Logan (14), Molly (14), and Jaxson (12). Our free time is spent cheering on our children at their soccer and baseball games, as well as supporting their activities at the local high school.
I am so grateful for the warm welcome I have received at San Jose Country Club. It has been a fantastic few weeks as I settle in and get to know everyone. I would greatly appreciate your assistance as I familiarize myself with each member at the club. To make things even more enjoyable, I am hosting a giveaway for the month of July. For every member who takes the time to stop by my office to say hello and introduce themselves, I will enter their name into a raffle for a chance to win a complimentary $100 gift card to the club.
I am eager to meet each and every one of you and look forward to connecting with all the wonderful members at San Jose Country Club!
Cheers, Amanda Anderson Membership Director
On behalf of San Jose Country Club, our thoughts and prayers go out to these families during this difficult time.

Dear San Jose Members,
I wanted to provide you with some updates on our ongoing maintenance efforts here at the golf course.
Firstly, you may have noticed the blue dots around the perimeter of the putting green. These indicate the original green edge, and we are planning to track the wire around our greens and scalp them to their original perimeter. This will help maintain the integrity of our putting greens and ensure a better playing experience for all of you
In regards to Curfew application, we understand that it may not be the most enjoyable process However, it is necessary to combat nematodes that can affect the health of our turf We are aware of the risks involved and are working diligently to address any weak areas that may be prone to tearing or ripping due to nematode damage.
On the topic of water management, we are facing some challenges with our water supply. San Jose has a limited allocation of water from Saint Johns River Water Management, and our ponds are not deep enough to effectively retain rainwater. This has led to an increase in algae growth in our ponds. We are exploring solutions to improve the depth of our ponds and enhance water retention on the course to mitigate these issues
Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to maintain and improve the quality of our course If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me
Cordially,
Josh Urbanec Golf Course Superintendent

Sprinkles
Slice your apples about 3/4″ thick. Use a knife, corer, or pastry tip to make a hole in the center. Color you cream cheese if you’d like. We just added a drop of neon food coloring to get these bright colors. Add sprinkles. That’s pretty much it! Enjoy this healthier “donut” for kids that makes a yummy and adorable snack.
