Dear Members,

Wow! Twelve months passed by extremely fast as your President. I would like to chalk that up to a very busy year. We completed the Tennis, Pool, and Fitness Center renovation (longer than expected, but if you have ever been involved in renovations, you certainly understand). We sought member input and completed our strategic plan which will guide us for the next decade. Our management and staff will be implementing our plan as we continue to improve our club experiences for our members

Fortunately, I get to travel and visit many clubs across the US Each visit, I reflect back to San Jose and what it means to me and my family

Three generations of Montgomery’s have made San Jose a part of our lives providing great memories and experiences A country club is not a necessity, but rather an amenity You get out of it what you put into it and help create your own memories Enjoy the club- make new friends and reconnect with old friends but enjoy every time you get to visit our club

I would like to thank the Board of Governors for their time and dedication this past year. Outgoing board members Eric Blocker, Jamie Olinto, Hans Vanden Noort and Bois Farrar, we appreciate your time and service in guiding the club. The new officers for 2025 are Will MorganPresident, Doug Saunders, -President elect, Bucky Buchanan- Treasurer, and Jim Tilbrook- Secretary. San Jose is in good hands moving forward

I would like to thank Stephen and his department heads and staff for all their efforts this year They have been great to work with as they continued to raise the level of our member experiences Thank you, Lisa, for all your support and understanding of the time commitment and numerous meetings San Jose is a special place for us both

Thank you again for the honor to serve as your Club President for 2024 2025 is just around the corner and San Jose will continue to thrive because of our members.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

See you at the club!

Sincerely,

Ladson Montgomery

San Jose Club President

MEMBERSHIP MATTERS DECEMBER EDITION

As we approach this season of gratitude, I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the warm welcome I have received since joining the San Jose Country Club team. It has been a pleasure getting to know many of you, and I look forward to what the future holds as we continue to build upon the club's remarkable legacy.

In the spirit of reflection and appreciation, I’d like to remind you of a couple of exciting opportunities available through our Legacy Program and Referral Promotion.

Legacy Program

Our Legacy Program allows members to honor the club's traditions by offering special initiation fee pricing for the next generation of family members If you know of any family members who may be interested in joining the club, this program is a great way to encourage them to become part of our community, creating lasting memories for years to come If you would like more details, please feel free to reach out to me directly

Referral Promotion

Additionally, we are currently offering a limited-time Referral Promotion to thank you for your support in helping us grow our membership When you refer a friend or family member to join the club, you will receive six months of free dues This is a wonderful opportunity to share your enthusiasm for the club while enjoying some benefits in return

I am here to assist you with any questions you may have or to provide more information about these programs, contact me directly at amanda anderson@sjccjax com Thank you once again for your support and for making me feel like part of the San Jose family.
