Introduction Finding joy is the cornerstone of everything I do, both in my art and in my life. Joy fuels us, sustains us, holds us up when we feel that all is lost. And the true beauty of joy is that it can be found in the smallest of things. The quality of light on a crisp autumn day, the weight of your dog’s head as he lies sleeping next to you, breathing in the aroma of a cup of tea before taking the first sip. My art lies in imagining and capturing these moments, committing them to paper so that they can bring happiness to you as you color them and read the quotes that inspired them. I always say, there is no “right” way to color. Coloring is a way to take a breath, to break from your day and allow your creative side to come to the fore as you choose your colors and apply them to the page. About the Artist Jane Maday is an artist, illustrator, and popular Instagrammer. A graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design, she was recruited as an illustrator by Hallmark Cards. The mom of two grown children, Jane has a menagerie of animals, a garden for inspiration, and a husband to share it all. She lives in Colorado.
