1. Create an account.

If this is your first time registering for a membership, trip or non-credit course online, you must create an account.

• Goto:enrole.com/siue

• Click on “Sign In/Create Acct” in the left navigation menu.

• Select“CreateAccount”andproceedtoenteryourinformation.

• Besuretoselect“Yes”toreceiveemailsandmailingsfromus with information about upcoming programs.

• Also,youwillwanttoselect“Individuals”beforeclicking “Submit” at the bottom of the page.

2. Add items to your cart.

Afteryouhavecreatedanaccountorloggedin,usethenavigation on the left to select which category/courses/memberships/trips you want toadd to your cart. Once you find the item you want toadd, click “AddtoCart.”

Behind the Scenes at the STL City Museum

Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of oneof St. Louis’ most weirdly wonderful museums, the City Museum! Water Quality Control Operations Program

PROGRAM

TheSIUEEnvironmentalResourcesTrainingCenter(ERTC)WaterQualityControlOperationsProgramisa one-year,full-timeprogramofstudyleadingtoacertificateofcompletion.ClassesmeetTuesday-Fridayfor ninemonthsstartinginmid-Augusteachyear.Duringthesummer,studentscompletea10-weekinternship programwheretheyworkfiveweeksatadrinkingwatertreatmentplantandfiveweeksatawastewater treatmentplant.Uponcompletionofthefull-yearprogram,studentsarequalifiedtoenterthewaterand wastewaterindustryaswateroperators,wastewateroperators,distribution/collectionworkers,laboratory techniciansormaintenanceworkersallforlessthan$10,000.

FACILITIES

The ERTC facility provides studentswith two fully equipped wet chemistry teaching labs, classrooms, auditorium, library/computercenter,30,000gallon/daytraining-scaledrinkingwaterandwastewatertreatmentplant, andthe0.5milliongallon/daySIUEUniversitywastewatertreatmentplant.

CERTIFICATIONS

StudentsareeligibletotakeIllinoisandMissouricertificationexamstobecome certifiedasdrinkingwaterandwastewateroperators-in-training.Uponcompletion oftheERTCprogram,graduatesareeligibleforfullcertification.
