As a designer I am always looking for the optimal combination between aestatics and function, however, there are these rare occasions in which these two ingredients invigorate each other.

In project Flynn, the low horizontal “lounge” look can be playfully interrupted, by repositioning the arm as a higher back. With this, it creates a totally different look, as well as a comfortable seat position with Flynn. People no longer have to choose between comfort, and the low lounge look. You could say the sofa elements offer the best of both worlds. Flynn is dedicated for the person that is looking for the lounge optics, without making any concessions (give in on) to comfort. Allready with a limited number of elements, Flynn offers the possibility to create a largely individualised look.

Playfull, function, individual.

When working on new designs, there is something very satisfying for me when I create a design - that although new - is somehow familiar. I think the Vidar has that quality, It feels like something I could have designed 10 years ago, but will still be appealing 10 years from now. It was of important to create a designs that was inviting and cosseting to look at, and then to be as comfortable as it looks. The combination of cushions and the materials used result in a simple linear shape, that is super relaxing! I imagine this collection appealing to someone who likes simplicity in design, but enjoys a relaxed, and informal environment. The removable cover not only looks chic, but is also practical, so maybe ideal for someone with children, pets or is just a bit messy! The versatile design is ideal for a family to gather on at the end of the day, or equally a single person can stretch out on the Vidar and put their feet up!

Timeless – Relaxed – Comfort.

Edda is a modular sofa system with a focus on generosity, elegance and mutability/variability, which is inspired by urban architecture, contemporary design and casual living. Edda has a clear, geometric character and amazes with its many combination possibilities that makes it versatile and adaptable. From a selection of a few perfectly matched modules in different formats, countless configurations can be formed - from compact units to spacious sofa landscapes - symmetrically arranged or freely combined. The particularly softly upholstered modules are especially comfortable and invites to relax. Thanks to the modality of the system, Edda offers a great freedom of disposal and mutability in the most divers settings, but still creates homely cosiness for the whole family. Finely and purposefully inserted seams on all edges of the modules underline the defined look of the sofa system. Additionally there is a matching table, that can be added to serves as a practical storage unit. Edda offers a lot of space for individual use and still gives a cozy feeling of comfort.

Versatile, architectural, extra soft.

All elements are freestanding.

With Uma we created an Armchair element with a classic comfortable feel, although the divergent proportions contribute to a contamporary look. Because of its proportions and dimensions, Uma doesn’t work as a room devider, and therefor is the perfect solution, in a great variety of spaces and interiors Uma has a real identity, but has the ability to “blend in” if it needs to!

Choice of fabric is Key! Compact, wide use, contemporary classic.

Britt is very simple and not necessarily sticks out in the crowd but she is classic and has some details that will flirt with you.

The most special part of her is that she offers a wide chaislounge were you can lay two persons and watch a movie together.

The sofa is deep but not too deep and even though her lines are clean and modern she doesn’t comprises in the comfort.

A sofa that easily will become the coziest spot in your home. Britt will be a loyal friend for many years in your home. The timeless design and the outstanding comfort will make her hard to replace. The person that would choose Britt for its home is a person that likes to create a warm and cozy environment in its home. The person highly values the time with family and friends and to spend it in the heart of the living room which is in Britt. The perfect home for Britt would be a place where furnitures are carefully chosen out of its obvious purpose and the joy that they will bring to the home. The interior is simple, stylish, conscious but jet fun. The generous size of Britt has room for a lot of laughter and snuggles.

The Vera will appeal to individuals who appreciate subtlety in design, and understated details, in a contemporary aesthetic. The sofa has a more formal structure, and a higher back cushion, so could suit people who prefer this type of comfort, and are looking for a smarter, more ‘tailored’ style.

Stylish - practical - simple - Stina is a modern sofa bed with extra seating comfort. It can be easily transformed into a comfortable bed for two adults in just a few steps. At first glance, Stina does not look like a conventional sofa bed. All elements of the sofa are held together in an all-embracing shell with gently rounded corners. The two generous and soft inner cushion elements enclose the user, offer a high level of comfort and can be easily removed and stowed away for sleeping.

For sleeping, the seat cushion only has to be folded out. Stina combines an appealing modern design with the practical function of a sofa bed.

Apart from comfort, a dining chair should have the capacity, to combine with a wide range of tables of different materials and forms. By designing Moa with both a metal frame and wooden feet, we managed to create a dining chair which is easily to be combined with different tables. Although this comfortable dining chair really has its own character, it is not at all polarising.

Moa chair is for people looking for a contamporary look, and are not willing to giving in on comfort.

Comfort, matches with most tables, timeless.
