It's June and the Texas heat is in full force — not just at work, but at home too! Here are a few tips to take care of your own lawn this summer:
☀ Water early. Run your sprinklers before 6 AM. Evening watering leaves grass wet overnight and can cause fungus especially rough in summer humidity.
Raise mowing heights. Raise your mower deck this summer. Cutting at 3–4” keeps your home lawn greener, crowds out weeds, and handles heat way better than a short cut.
Check irrigation heads weekly. Broken or misaligned heads create dry spots fast. A quick walk-through before mowing saves callbacks.
Mulch is your best friend. A fresh 2–3" layer in beds holds moisture, suppresses weeds, and gives enhancement jobs an instant clean look.
