The number of units sold in the Upper Cape has increased by 9% in 2015 as compared to 2014.

Bourne has experienced a 15% decrease in the average selling price of a single family unit and a 4% decrease in condominium

have increased by 15%. Falmouth has seen an 8% decrease in the average selling price of a single family home while there has been a reduction of 6% in condominiums.

Sandwich’s Single Family unit sales have increased by 19% and condominiums have declined by 25%. Sandwich’s average selling price of a single family has increased by 10% while condominiums have increased by 14%.

Single Family sales in Mashpee have increased by 3% and condominiums by 8%. There has been a 5% decrease in the average selling price of single family homes and a 1% reduction in condominiums.

BARNSTABLE, YARMOUTH, DENNIS Located in the middle of Cape Cod, along the bicep to continue the arm analogy, the mid Cape consists of the towns of Barnstable, Yarmouth and Dennis. Barnstable’s average selling price in single family homes has decreased 1%, while the average selling price of condominiums has decreased 11%.

Over the same time frame in Barnstable, both closed unit sales are down. 1% for single family units and 3% for condominums.

Yarmouth single family units are up 8%, however condominiums are down 8%.

Dennis’ single family units increased 2% for 2015 vs 2014.

Provincetown saw a 2% decrease in the average sales price of single family homes and an 8% increase in the sales price of condominium units. Unit sales were down 11% for single family homes and condominiums were up 5%.
