Most geared scooter fans have wished for an extra gear at some time or another. At least one more that their traditionally geared four-speed ride can provide.

Tuned motors benefit from additional ratios being added to effectively convert their extra power into an

increased top speed and reduced gaps between the gears. A close-ratio gearbox offers these advantages and the original Lambretta versions were known as the ‚Pacemaker‘ and ‚Close-ratio‘ transmissions. They solve the problem of the gaps between the gears being too large, but also reduce the available speed range. Either the top-speed is too low, or the revs required to get going in the first place are too high.

ear brake drums for Lambretta models are now R only available from low-quality production runs which is usually adequate for use with a standard motor, but useless on tuned machines. The boys at Casa Performance could not ignore this deficit and have consequently developed and produced a reinforced high quality rear drum brake by the name

of ‚Octopus‘. As the name might suggest, alongside the high end production and rugged reinforcements their brake drum is equipped with a total of eight wheel mounting studs. Over-tightened and sheared studs have become a thing of the past! The spline arrangement combined with the special mounting of the drum to the drive shaft makes the original conus fixing unnecessary! Standard Lambretta wheels with only four mounting holes can still be used with no problems. To exploit this eight-hole mounting system Casa Performance also have special ‚Octopus‘ tubeless wheels available.

of this partnership production, the FRANSPEED exhausts have advanced to be amongst the finest aftermarket performance exhaust systems available for Lambrettas. The FRANSPEED Race is compatible with the ‚RB‘ cylinder exhaust outlet and also the TS 1, Monza and Imola cylinder types. It uses the same holding bracket as all JL produced pipes and the outlet itself is kept gas-tight with O-ring gaskets. The silencer is removable and this allows the fitting of other types, such as the SIP Carbon.

A perfectly balanced and designed race exhaust for motors tuned for everyday use and rallying. Where a fourstroke motor requires valves, camshaft, exhaust and a turbo, a two-stroke just requires a well designed exhaust.

A few pieces of sheet-metal modelled to create a form that harmonises perfectly with the layout and size of the openings in the cylinders bore, known as transfer and exhaust ports. The design of the resonance chamber not only influences the removal of hot exhaust gases, but the pulse effect also affects the flow of fresh fuel mixture into the cylinder. The GORI 200cc ‚Sport‘ tuning cylinder kit is designed for use with the Lambretta 125-175cc smallblock motors, in combination with crankshafts that possess a 107mm con rod and 58mm stroke. The modern design of the ‚RB‘ cylinders includes a number of updates for the Lambretta motor. The RB cylinder have a larger reed-valve assembly with the reed-petals arranged in two rows to provide an increased inlet cross-sectional area. To make effective use

The English firm GRAN TURISMO produce a set of engine casings that, alongside many meaningful reinforcements, also has a number of improved mechanical details. They have various versions available.

The basic type replaces the original and is suitably reinforced and has the original cylinder stud layout

with a slightly enlarged cylinder base gasket area.

Additionally they also have engine casings available that readily accept the cylinders produced by Simonini and Rotax with up to 400cc! These projects require crankcases large enough to accept bigger crankshafts with greater diameter crankshaft-webs.

The carburettors reed valve inlet is located directly over the crankcase.

This all-new cowling system has been titled the ‚Casa Cooler‘ and consists of a three-piece Mag-housing and the cover to match. The components are all CNC machined in Italy and ensure, due to a special CAD

development process, an improved flow of cooling air through the motor. This is not the only advantage this system provides for the vintage Lambretta motors to which it is attached. IGNITION SIP VAPE

SIP have managed to gain the assistance of a major European producer, VAPE, to manufacture these high-end ignition systems for our beloved Lambrettas. The materials, production and construction of the SIP PERFORMANCE Lambretta ignition systems are of the highest quality. The laser-cut logo is a good indication of the overall clean and efficient manufacture of the components of this kit.

This eliminates the possibility of false positioning during the initial set up due to the sloppy manufacturing tolerances included on many engine casings, crankshafts, stator-plates and flywheels. The exact ignition point is clearly marked with a precise line on both the flywheel and stator-plate, which allows ignition adjustment without stroboscopic lamp. All you need to do is find out the top dead center (TDC).

The electrical functions are representative of state of the art modern technology. Due to the eight coils included on the stator-plate enough power is created at tick-over revs to already fully illuminate the lighting. We have both AC and DC versions available and we recommend the DC type if you wish to power digital components such as the SIP Speedometer, or you require a high battery loading charge. By using the DC version with SIP Speedometer you required a Rev Signal Filter from KOSO. Instead the Rev Signal Filter you can also connect the brown Cable from the SIP Speedometer to the white CDI Cable of the SIP/VAPE CDI with an extra Cable!

One of the most major advances achieved is the production of the fly/fanwheel unit as a single component, avoiding a riveted inner mounting-cone and an uneven rotation. This greatly reduces engine vibration while also noticeably extending the working life of the flywheel side crankshaft bearing. The fanwheel is CNC machined from solid aluminium and delivers an identical volume of cooling air to the cylinder as the original throughout the whole rev-range. The amount delivered by most aftermarket ignition systems is easily surpassed by our design, without preventing higher motor speeds.

The CDI module is available as a ‚Road‘ version with a static ignition point, similar to the original item, or a ‚Sport‘ version that includes a variable ignition point which advances at low revs. This increases the available torque especially at the lower end - and the ignition point is then gradually retarded as the rpm rises into the power-band.

This also helps reduce the combustion temperature while simultaneously providing an increased rev-range. The pick-up on the stator-plate is split into two and arranged on top of another instead of next to each other as with

The flywheel intended for the DL/GPs weighs 1650 gr. and for the LI/LIS/SX/TV 1690 gr., making them both considerably lighter than their original counterparts. This primarily improves throttle-response, but leaves the motor easily manageable in urban traffic and while carrying a pillion. Our SIP – VAPE flywheels are 100% compatible with the original flywheel remover type.

The ‘SLUK‘ bridge-fitting clip solves one of the most potentially painful problems faced by longsuffering Lambretta owners and mechanics: The de/mounting of the central bridge piece and running boards.

The original bridge piece fixing nuts are extremely difficult to reach with a spanner and are located right next to the exhaust pipe. This makes their removal a very tiresome ritual, as they require removal before almost all engine maintenance and repair work, especially when the exhaust is still hot!

contact & directions How to find us: We are very conveniently located in the industrial estate 'Frauenwald' in Landsberg am Lech. For those arriving on the A96 motorway, we recommend to take the exit Landsberg Nord and drive into town. At the first intersection turn right until the next traffic light, turn right and go straight.

Shortly after the highway bridge at Audi/Mercedes, turn left and continue straight through the round-about. Approximately 300m further we are on the right side.

When travelling on the motorway-like B17 exit Igling is recommended.

Follow the signs 'Industriegebiet Frauenwald'. About the Franz-KollmannStraße, which merges into the Fahrenheit-Straße and then in the CelsiusStraße turn right at the company Vissmann into Emmy-Noether-Straße.

After about 200 meters you will find us on the left side.
