The Bristol Mix

Meantime Chorus is a London-based choir founded in a chilly Greenwich pub garden in November 2015 by a small group of friends who met at Bristol University through their shared love of barbershop singing. Their aim was to keep doing the hobby they loved whilst branching out to other styles and seeing how far they could push their skills. The group's early days were spent rehearsing in a mixture of music rooms, school halls and wherever else they could afford on the outskirts of London. It was here that they started the journey to discover their identity as a chorus and began to lay the groundwork for what the chorus has become today.

Since those early days, the chorus grown into a much larger community of singers from all across London and the surrounding areas, all united by a love of close harmony and a drive to continually improve their musical abilities. They have sung all over the UK, notably including at the Eisteddfod in Llangollen and at the Manchester Annual Choral Contest, which the Meantime won in 2019.
