When thinking about your wedding, it's natural to look through pictures of beautiful local weddings, and mentally hire all the best vendors that match your style But, it's good to note that great wedding vendors are hot commodities. GENERALLY, the best in the business are booked up a year or more in advance!

There is a such thing as "too early," i e before you're engaged, but for the most part, once that question is popped and you've found your date, reach out to your vendors and check openings. I've known some brides to pick their dates around vendor availability so that's an option as well Make your dream list and plan B's and get to reaching out!

VENUES: 12-18 MONTHS OUT

ENTERTAINMENT: 9-12 MONTHS

BEAUTY TEAM: 9-12 MONTHS

PHOTOGRAPHER: 6-9+ MONTHS

VIDEOGRAPHER: 6-9+ MONTHS

CATERER: 6-12 MONTHS

FLORIST: 6+ MONTHS

OFFICIANT: 6+ MONTHS
