THE STORM
Simpson increased its win streak to five games on Saturday with a 70-54 victory over Luther. The Storm used a big second quarter to claim a 45-25 halftime lead and then outscored the Norse 18-8 in the fourth quarter to finish off the win. Cassie Nash became the 19th member of Simpson’s 1,000-point club during the game and will be recognized prior to tonight’s contest
THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
After starting the season 5-2, Nebraska Wesleyan has gone on a six-game losing streak with its most recent loss being a 98-29 setback against Wartburg. The Prairie Wolves’ lone conference win of the season was in their league opener against Central where they edged the Dutch 6665. Nebraska Wesleyan ranks last in the conference with 53.8 points per game.
