THE STORM

The last time Simpson was in action, the Storm dropped a slim 45-41 decision to Loras in both team’s American Rivers Conference opener. Simpson took its first lead of the game right before halftime and maintained its advantage for a majority of the second half, but the Duhawks orchestrated an 8-0 run late that put them ahead for good with under a minute and a half to go.

THE TIGERS

Iowa Wesleyan saw a three-game win streak come to an end with a 67-57 loss to Southwestern Christian last Tuesday in Texas. The defending Continental Athletic Conference Tournament Champions are coached by second-year head coach Steve Williamson.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES

Simpson has won all but one of the 18 matchups between the two teams. The Storm were victorious in the first 13 games before Iowa Wesleyan took the 2013-14 meeting by a slim score of 69-65. Simpson has gone 4-0 ever since.
