THE STORM
The Storm saw its six-game winning streak snapped by Nebraska Wesleyan on Wednesday. Within one point in the second half, the Prairie Wolves outscored the Storm by 10 over the final minutes. Easton Darling led the Storm with 19 points, while Andrew Curran’s 10 assists made him the first player with at least 10 assists in a game in over three years.
THE SPARTANS
The Spartans had won four of five and were sitting at 3-1 in conference play entering 2023, but suffered double-digit losses to open the new year (vs Coe, at Loras). In the two losses, the Spartans shot less than 50 percent from the free throw line combined.
LAST TIME THEY MET
Despite a game-high 16 points from Andrew Curran, the Storm fell at home last season, 9068, after Dubuque shot over 50 percent from the field.
