THE STORM
The Storm dropped a tough road contest to unbeaten Bethany Lutheran on Wednesday. Despite 22 points from Easton Darling and 21 from Chris Honz, the Storm kept the game close throughout the second half, but fell 99-96, in a high-scoring affair.
THE KOHAWKS
The Kohawks won their conference opener against Luther at home, but fell to Loras on the road, evening their conference record at 1-1. The Kohawks also defeated Cornell College narrowly, a common opponent for the Storm. Cael Schmitt (18.1 ppg) and TJ Schnurr (16.4 ppg) are the two main sources of offensive production for Coe.
LAST TIME THEY MET
The two teams split the season series last year, but Coe was the most recent victor, running out as 84-62 winners at Cowles Fieldhouse in late January.
