THE STORM

Simpson pushed its win streak to four games with a 73-41 road triumph over Nebraska Wes leyan on Wednesday. With the win, the Storm officially earned the right to host the first round of the conference tournament beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Tip-off will be 7 p.m. against either Dubuque or Luther, depending on the results of today’s games.

The Dutch

Central is coming off back-to-back wins in league play as the Dutch defeated Luther 6249 and Buena Vista 68-59. The Dutch and firstyear head coach Moran Lonning are looking to end the season on a high note with their third straight victory.

THE ALL-TIME SERIES

Simpson has absolutely dominated the series over the last 20 years, winning all 42 matchups. Today’s game will be the 98th meeting between the two teams. The Storm look for their 68th win in the series, while the Dutch go for their 31st and first since 2002-03.

Senior Day

Simpson will recognize five seniors in between games this afternoon. The program will show its appreciation for student managers Morgan Castenson and Alyssa Rostad as well as current players Taylor Gienger, Cassie Nash and Anna Wanek.
