The Storm and Titans are opening their season against each other for the second straight season today. Illinois Wes leyan, the defending CCIW Co-Regular Season Champions, tallied a goal in the final 15 seconds of last year’s match to claim a 4-3 win in double overtime and improve to 2-0 in the all-time series. The first meeting between the two teams was in 2001; the Titans were victorious by a score of 2-0.

THE STORM Simpson enters the 2022 campaign eager to continue its success from a year ago. The Storm tallied 13 overall wins, the most since 2011, and six conference victories, the most since 2006. Head Coach Jeremy Reinert is back for his fifth season and returns six all-conference players including Lizzie Arnburg, Abby Cozzoni, Brenny Fred erick, Brooklin Froehlich, Cassie Nash and Megan Roberts.
