I am an early-career researcher in Architecture and Urban Design working in a trans-scalar way, in a third mission and public engagement framework in close collaboration with administrations and local stakeholders, supporting them in territorial and architectural reactivation with participative design processes and guidelines design.
My position in interdisciplinary teams – where I often play the role of coordinator, crossing multiple disciplines and universities – characterizes my entire path and production at different levels: i) for an international dimension through continuous exchanges with Tsinghua University (Beijing) during the Phd years; ii) with European-scale networks of the two 3-year Erasmus+ projects I am part of, and the mobility periods carried out for research and for didactical activities in international workshops all over Europe, leading me to continuous collaborations with international universities such as ULB Bruxelles, ETH Zurich, ENSA Grenoble, EPFL Lausanne, UMinho Guimarães, NTUA Athens, UDC La Coruña, UACEG Sofia, and with local institutions as well - such as Fundación RIA (ES), Fondazione Courmayeur Mont Blanc, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione Sicilia, Fondazione Pistoletto; iii) with numerous inter-university research collaborations in between Politecnico di Torino (DAD-DIST) and Politecnico di Milano (DAStU) consolidated over the years; iv) inside Politecnico di Torino, with the collaboration in China Room , and more recently at Istituto di Architettura Montana interdisciplinary research center as coordinator. Finally – after many experiences in tutoring at Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano, over ten years through various disciplines – since 2022 I’ve been Adjunct Professor in Architectural and Urban Design at Politecnico di Torino (DAD), supervising 8 master thesis, and organizing numerous on-field activities and international symposiums and events for the students.
